چکیده
Abstract Three fields in the outskirts of Small Magellanic Cloud were observed by UltraViolet Imaging Telescope (UVIT) on board AstroSat, between 2017 December 31 and 2018 January 1. The observations carried out a total seven filters, three far-ultraviolet (FUV; 1300–1800 Å) band four near-ultraviolet (NUV; 2000–3000 band. We photometry these that have spatial resolution better than 1.″5. present here first results this work, which is matched catalog 11,241 sources detected FUV NUV wavelengths. make available online, would be use to astronomical community address wide variety astrophysical problems. provide an expression estimate count rate full point-spread function UVIT also incorporates effect saturation.

INTEGRAL observations of the Small Magellanic Cloud
The first INTEGRAL observations of the Small Magellanic Cloud (carried out in 2003) are reported in which two sources are clearly detected. The first source, SMC X-1, shows a hard X-ray eclipse and measurements of its pulse period indicate a continuation of the long-term spin-up now covering ∼30 years. The second source is likely to be a high mass X-ray binary, and shows a potential periodicity...
متن کاملThe Magellanic Clouds Photometric Survey: the Small Magellanic Cloud Stellar Catalog and Extinction Map
We present our catalog of U , B, V , and I stellar photometry of the central 18 sq.◦ area of the Small Magellanic Cloud. We combine our data with the 2MASS and DENIS catalogs to provide, when available, U through KS data for stars. Internal and external astrometric and photometric tests using existing optical photometry (U , B, and V from Massey’s bright star catalog; B, V , and I from the micr...
متن کاملWfpc2 Observations of the Small Magellanic Cloud Intermediate-age Populous
We present our analysis of archival Hubble Space Telescope Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 observations in F555W (∼V ) and F450W (∼B) of the intermediate-age populous star cluster NGC 416 in the Small Magellanic Cloud galaxy. We use published photometry of two other SMC populous star clusters, Lindsay 1 and Lindsay 113, to investigate the age sequence of these three star clusters. We estimate tha...
متن کاملExploring the Small Magellanic Cloud to the Faintest X-ray Fluxes: Source Catalog, Timing and Spectral Analysis
We present the results of a pair of 100 ksec Chandra observations in the Small Magellanic Cloud to survey HMXBs, stars and LMXBs/CVs down to Lx = 10 32 erg/s. The two SMC deep-fields are located in the most active star forming region of the bar. Deep Field-1 is positioned at the most pulsarrich location (identified from previous surveys). Two new pulsars were discovered in outburst: CXO J004929...
متن کاملFermi Observations of the Large Magellanic Cloud
We report on observations of the Large Magellanic Cloud with the Fermi Gamma-Ray Space Telescope. The LMC is clearly detected with the Large Area Telescope (LAT) and for the first time the emission is spatially well resolved in gamma-rays. Our observations reveal that the bulk of the gamma-ray emission arises from the 30 Doradus region. We discuss this result in light of the massive star popula...
